In the title compound, [Nb(CH(3)O)(2)(C(5)H(7)O(2))Cl(2)], a slightly distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry is observed around the Nb(V) atom with Nb-O distances in the range of 1.8254 (16)-2.0892 (16) Å and Nb-Cl distances of 2.3997 (14) and 2.4023 (12) Å.
